NATIONAL CO-OPERATIVE DAY 2011 AT PUTRAJAYA

Just last month, the Ministry of Youth & Sports successfully gathered 1 million Belia of different races at Putrajaya and this weekend, the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Consumerism and Co-operative organised the NATIONAL CO-OPERATIVE DAY 2011!! If there is one thing noticeable about our government, is their effort for public and business camaraderie ! I have never attended so many non-political gatherings than now except weddings!

The traffic to the NATIONAL CO-OPERATIVE DAY 2011 was smooth but Rose Emini Pahamin, Nawal Aini Zulkifli, Aaraf Armin and me arrived 5 minutes late to participate in the DURIAN EATING COMPETITION!!!!! uWaaaaaaa........ I think I could have been crown the DURIAN EATING TAIKO if I were to compete!!

BERSIH IS DIRTY

There were countless people that commented (on facebook, blogs, twitter etc) in favour of the Coalition for Free and Fair Elections BERSIH 2.0 so called 'Peaceful" demonstration and to be honest, I have not heard anyone that is against it.. except for politicians. Again, I took the liberty to speak to a few people whom are very much in favour of BERSIH 2.0 peaceful demonstration. I asked, why are you so much in favour of BERSIH 2.0?

Is it because our election process was not fair, tainted and corrupted? If our election process was that bad, that it has to be taken to the street via demonstration, then I am sure Barisan Nasional would have won Kelantan back from PAS whom has been reigning for more than 20 years? and Barisan Nasional would not have lost 5 states in the last general election.... ??!!!

Seriously, I am more concern at the ignorance of the people protesting than the actual demonstration it self. It is really easy to condemn and to become a "yes man" than to actually take the effort to understand. What are BERSIH 2.0's demands? BERSIH 2.0 demanded the followings:

1) use of indelible ink (which has already been agreed by the election commission)
2) cleaning up of the registered voters' roll
3) abolishing postal votes
4) giving access to opposition parties on government controlled prints and broadcast media.
5) minimum 21 days campaign period
6) strengthening public institution
7) stop dirty politics
8) stop corruption

COBC: BATTLE OF THE PLATOONS!!!!!!!

Owhmygawd!!!!! Is this for real? Are we really having the platoon challenge? Really? Oh my God, Oh my God, Oh my God... I am so excited........... err.... err what is the platoon challenge?

Platoon challenge is a special event organised to foster the spirit of camaraderie between recruits from all platoons. Most of the time, recruits only interact with their fellow platoon mate without any opportunity to meet recruits from other platoons. During the platoon challenge, recruits irrespective of rank; range, seal and delta would have to work together and win points for their platoon this does inevitably promote team-work effort as well.

When Senior Sarge Rob Coad, the Regional master Trainer & Spec Ops Coodinator for the ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP, Australia first mooted the idea in 2009, we at the KLA platoon went wild. We had our first Platoon Versus platoon in January 2010 and I was unanimously elected as the Captain for the KLA Platoon. That was when KLA was part of the same 20 years old network under the ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP, Australia and I was only a recruit. Now KLA is running an independant program on its own. As the Captain, I had the best time planning, coordinating, training, strategizing and led our platoon to win the first Platoon Versus Platoon 2010. This year I cannot be the Captain nor a participant. Maybe a punishment for sleeping with the instructor!? aiiks... Read HERE for Platoon Versus Platoon 2010 and get some idea of what to prepare.

So who are the captains chosen to lead the platoon?

COBC JULY 2ND WEEK!! BRITISH ARMY'S ELITE 300 CLUB

Chief Brabon, the founder, designer and contractor of the CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP workout program had never exhausted of exciting and challenging ideas to seduced our stamina that can reach out into giving our best potential in each and every session. Today is no exception and to end the 2nd week of July COBC session, Chief Brabon gave us an insight into what it takes to be part of the British Army's Elite.

British soldiers whom achieved the fitness standards from this circuit will be accepted into the uber-exclusive 300 club whose motto is "299 just isn't enough!". Since 2009, less than 300 British Soldiers qualified to be a member of the 300 club. Chief Brabon was also privilege to be invited by the British Army to take part in the 300 Club tryouts in December 2011 and if passed, Chief Brabon will be the first civilian to be accepted into the club.

That same circuit & scoring that was used as a fitness benchmark for the British Army's elite was made available for us as a training method and for us to benchmark ourselves against. It is always best to gauge our fitness against the best. The COBC is not a military-inspired bootcamp just by name but it is military-inspired bootcamp because the training program was designed by a former infantry soldier Chief Brabon and tailor made for civilians with different goals. Each and every session was meticulously designed for us to reap the maximum benefit.

Trained, graduated and certified only by Chief Brabon, Sarge (COBC) Dann, Corporal (COBC) Nawal, Corporal (COBC) Chun, Corporal (COBC) Tom and Lance Corporal (COBC) (P) Wan were entrusted only with 2 goal!! to get each and every recruit to workout in PERFECT FORM!! otherwise, it is NOT counted as a rep! and to perform as many reps in 2 minutes!

NTVT 7 "I FEEL GOOD" RUN @ BANDAR UTAMA

There are many reasons to feel good today on 3rd July 2011!! For a start... its Sunday!! Sunday is always good. Although we should be lazing in bed waking up late on Sunday but we woke up at 6am to get ready for the run. Nawal Aini Zulkifli, Ili Liyana Baharon, Hani Hussein, Adibah Syazni and Me car pool'ed to Sri Pentas at Bandar Utama for the NTV7, Feel Good Run 2011!! We parked the car at the One World Hotel car park, took the lift to the Lobby and walked to the Sri Pentas, the television & radio studio and broadcasting station, 5 minutes walk away.

Backtracked abit, Nawal Aini Zulkifli collected our race bib and registration goodie bag earlier. For 25 ringgit, the goodie bag was worth more than that but my favorite was the running tee shirt. These were in the goodie bag received...

There were more than 40 participants from the CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP, Malaysia namely John Chuah, Armin Baniaz Pahamin, Daing Daniel Fitri, Nawal Aini Zulkifli, Nurfuadi Ruzalli, Suriana Saiful Yazan, Khiew Pooi Ching, Khooi Pooi Yen, Lizza Abdul Rahim, Joe Liew, Faizul Zainal, Jasmine Lili, Andrew Pang, Sofiyah Israa Mokhtar, Norliza Mohd Khalid, Lilian Lee, Raja Affandi Raja Jamaludin, Nadia Asari, Dalyn Nunis, Haidar Akma, Farah Fazulan Abdullah, Shazu Sabri, Hani Hussein, Adibah Mohamad, Adibah Syazni, Ryan Wong, Ili Liyana Baharon, James Fong, Jeremy Liew, Chan Meng Yam, Joannita Zaleha Yusoff, Shear Ling Toh, Freda Liu, Letch Sina, Nur Fazura, Dixon Thum, Tan Mein Mein, Angela Loo, Fareen Zulkifli and Haidar Akmal.

This RACE was also Faizul Zainal, Andrew Pang & Jasmine's  maiden run!!!

The NTV7 organized the Feel Good run on the 7th month of the year and on Sunday Morning at 7 O'clock!! We at the CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP are forever happy whenever there are running races. There were many COBC recruits that had turned into avid runners after joining the COBC. We at the COBC are the happy bunch and NTV7 being the home of Feel Good factor is a match-made in heaven.

Part of the NTV7 Feel Good Run cause was also to collect donations for the National Cancer Society, National Autism Society of Malaysia, Malaysia Heart Foundation and Malaysia AIDS Foundation. The COBC will do anything for charity and/or charitable cause, especially if it pertains to running for charity and/or fitness event. Just last week, our COBC recruit Jeffery Wong ran 100km in Singapore to raise fund for charity.

The CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP... The third inline after Celcom!!

BLOGGING WENT AWRY..

My apology for the multiple posting on the Mail Q&A: RAISING THE RED FLAG. It was meant to be for my 2nd page blog archives which is a compilation of all articles of my interest. Anyway, what contained in the interview with the Malay Mail was abit manipulated by the media. It was not entirely meant the way it was put forward.

Sorry for the spam which broadcasted the same blog article more than 20 times. The article has been deleted from here and kept at my 2nd page, the Voices...

COBC: JULY SESSION 2

It is impossible to plateau at the CHIEF ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP, Malaysia!!! A bunch of us (including me) now had entered into our 3rd year training under the program with the same drive and energy but stronger stamina and strength. This is one of the main factor on how and why the ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP AUSTRALIA (our principal) is now into their 20th year since establishment in 1991. Although we are a toddler being only 1 year old in Malaysia but the 20th years of experience backing, supporting and designing a world-class training program delivered to you only at the CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP by CHIEF's qualified instructors is a journey in it self.

After 3 years of training under the program, I lost my shoulder and legs again!!? I mean.... I still cant feel my legs and shoulders after the session today. Here I am, thinking I should be accustom to the workout but completing the session today was pain-stalking. Not that kind of pain but the other kind of pain... you know what I mean? Chief Brabon once said, if you struggled and find it difficult to complete a session, it means you have had a good session. That is what the program is about and that is what the instructors are train to do.... to make sure that every recruit gave 110% effort for the whole 1 hour! There are not there to be your friend but to extract your best potential.

The Otais (Old-Timer) were surprised and welcome back Lessa Tan!! Leesa Tan was our recruit but she had moved to become an expatriate overseas and occasionally comes back to Malaysia for a break. Leesa Tan, anytime you are back, please come for training!! Although you still maintain that lean and athletic physique but you still need to train. Welcome back Leesa Tan.

1 YEAR OLD CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP, MALAYSIA

The CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP, MALAYSIA turned One Year Old this month. Being only one year old, we are not free from flaw(s) and mistake(s) but we learn from our mistakes as well as other people's flaw and will continuously improve ourselves, our deliverables and our services. We are sensitive to whatever the needs of our recruits and members and where possible, we want to fulfill all those request. Rienna Choo... after many months of waiting, that Car Sticker is now ready. Its complimentary to mark our 1st year anniversary. Please inquire from your instructors & Admins. John Chuah.. I am also pleased to inform we now have the Cage!!!

After one year of being trained under the program, we took a huge step forward to subscribe the license from Australia, to share the program at various other locations. Now that we are one year old, from just a mere 1 location at Bandar Utama, this program is now shared at 3 locations namely, Bandar Utama, Subang Jaya USJ1 and Damansara Heights. From just 1 platoon, we now have 5 platoons namely BU-Alpha, BU-Bravo, USJ1-Alpha, USJ1-bravo and Damansara heights- Zulu.

For this one year anniversary...... On behalf of my partners Dr Malek Aziz & Sarge Dann and Chief Brabon the founder & Managing Director of the ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP, Australia I would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the Pioneers and thoroughbred recruits as well as all past and present recruits.

Thank you Uncle John Chuah whom were our biggest supporter when we first started one year ago and even today... although now he has also became the biggest FFK. Thank you the most voted Spirit of Bootcamp and best improved and still improving JOE LIEW!!

Thank you pioneers Shear Ling Toh, James Fong, Chan Meng Yam, Freda Liu, Fatintafrina Mohd Tareh, Joannita Zaleha Yusof, RosLIZZA Abdul Rahim, Pooi Ching Khiew, Viki Lim, Lilian Lee, Raja Affandi Jamaluddin, Norliza Mohd Khalid, Afiza Abdul Halin, Rienna Choo...

STANDARD CHARTERED KUALA LUMPUR INTERNATIONAL MARATHON 2011

Kuala Lumpur, 26 June 2011. Today was Standard Chartered's third year as the main sponsor for the Kuala Lumpur International Marathon, Malaysia's biggest marathons and in just a short span of 3 years, I have to give this year's Standard Chartered Kuala Lumpur International Marathon a two thumbs and 2 toes up!!! I have ran more than 60 races in the past 8 years and this was the best organised race that I have participated. Everything from registration, race-number, vest & goodie bag collection to the last point of medal and left-luggage collection was so well organised.

Baggage left-area.
The event organiser was Golazo Sdn Bhd and Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL). It is sanctioned and supported by the relevant international and local sporting authorities – the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS), Malaysia Amateur Athletics Union (MAAU), Federal Territory Amateur Athletic Association (FTAAA), International Amateur Athletic Federation (IAAF), Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS), and National Fitness Council (NFC). The race is also fully supported by the title sponsor, Standard Chartered Bank (Malaysia) Berhad.

The organiser prepared sufficient toilets throughout the race route, many water stations, a lot of free-flow both water and isotonic drinks at water stations, bananas enough to feed the whole Zoo, very cheerful and energetic supporters, pretty and sexy cheer leaders (which had slowed me down substantially), first aid people were scattered everywhere, many ambulances, marshals were seen at every corner, perfect distance markers and good signage.... to top up the good weather!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SARGE DANN!!

One thing that Sarge Dann cannot do on his birthday is to hide from the CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP Otais (old timers) and recruits .. Sarge Dann's birthday falls on Monday 20 June.. and immediately after Damansara Height Zulu session, the Otais from Bandar Utama waited impatiently for Sarge Dann... probably to ambush him!! That is probably the only way to return his 'training-kindness'..... Ironically, I was in Phnom Pehn when it all happen.. So Sarge, if you are giving out free grunts as an 'appreciation' to recruits.. remember I was not part of the plan bluwek...

WAKE UP MALAYSIA AUTOMOTIVE ASSOCIATION

The Hire Purchase Act amendments third bill was tabled, approved and gazetted in Parliament on 23 June 2010 click HERE and search for parliament bill no D.R. 18/2010.

Almost all stakeholders share a common view that there are anomalies in the car buying process which resulted from lack of communication between those from the industry and policy makers.
However, there are even confusions among the stakeholders in the automotive industry.  Whilst PROTON EDAR Dealers Association Malaysia (PEDA) and most of other stake holders such as Perodua Dealers Association (PDA) which together (with PEDA) has more than 60% market share (in  passenger car sales Total Industry Volume), share a common view that the stakeholders were not consulted and discussed prior to the new law being gazetted (note the 'before the law being gazetted' and not implemented).

Dato Aishah Ahmad, President Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) refuted a WRONG CLAIM in the Star newspaper on 23 June 2011.  PEDA and stakeholders did not refute that there existed consultations between Ministry and other stakeholders before the implementation. For the past 6 months, we have been in and out of various meetings after meetings to interpret what the new law says and in the preparation of a new Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for our members.

What we are adamant is the consultation BEFORE the law was tabled, passed and gazetted in parliament. Policy Maker should consult, discuss and gather feedback from the industry PRIOR to the bill being tabled and approved. Once the law has been approved & gazetted, it became the law awaiting the relevant Ministry to implement and enforce. Talking at this stage will not change any part of the approved & gazetted law.

JUNE CHIEF ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP IN A NUTSHELL.... I MEAN NUT HELL!!

Reading CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP (COBC), USJ-Bravo recruit's Gladys-Tan blog at HERE, reminded me alot of me... Sharing experience of our passion is a generosity not many people have but the blogger's fraternity at the CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP are growing!! We have more than a dozen bloggers now but I will have to research them back in old blog roll to find the list. But do follow blogs from "Gladys-Tan: Life is beautiful- Smile while you still have teeth :D".. I ensure you will be entertained.

Subang Jaya USJ is quickly becoming as havoc as Bandar Utama & Damansara Height platoon with its own blogger, Otais and individual unique character that make them so fun and motivating to workout with. USJ Alpha & Bravo... you gals/guys became the talk among trainers.. you so hip! We Rolled-On-The-Floor-Laughing-Out-Loud (ROTFLOL) listening how the USJ-bravo Delta's ran and pick up cones when they were supposed to run-and-turn back at the cone instead.  There were other incidents that was hilarious but I better not start now.

We are approaching the end of June session and it is always hard to bid farewell to recruits whom opted to stop after this session. COBC is a platform to meet new friends, acquaintances and in sharing our passion for health & fitness as well as a platform for networking.

Having been overly busy this month with little time for blogging, let me summarize the whole month session in one blog. This month in particular has been extremely busy with that time for blogging being used for writing an autobiography of the CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP, MALAYSIA... how it start, what it is about, why the program is such a success, why did we take up the franchise, the training journal etc etc... now 50% is completed and although I have still have a long writing to do but I am determine to launch it in July 2011 in conjunction with the CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY.

This month has been a trying month to re-built the stamina from lost of training momentum due to endless trips overseas. The first two weeks of this month was a heart throbbing session and personally I almost drown in pouring sweat. The less stressful session was during the Bring-A-Friend day on Friday for Bandar Utama & Damansara Heights platoons and Saturday for USJ platoons.

What did we do for BAF Day? Yes.. Let those pictures speak for itself. Although I was blogging on Bandar Utama Alpha where I trained, the pictures were taken from Damansara Heights Zulu.

We had 13 toys and Bruder Tayar! What better way to welcome those friends than to introduced them to bruder tayar, batang rifle and Sandbabes. After all, life is all about bruderhood, batang and babes.

Recruits arrived early eagerly waiting for the session to start. This is the hidden energy that we all discovered at the bootcamp. They always do except for some whom really desperate to have a sexy legs.. (we know what late-comers equate to don't we!?)

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY 2011

19 June 2011, Father's day!! Yes.. It is the day we celebrate and honor us fathers, fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society. Father's Day is celebrated on the third Sunday of June in Malaysia and many countries but not necessarily the same elsewhere.

What does it take to be a father? I mean, of course it involved that hardwork.... err... you know that thing we do successfully before we can be elevated into fatherhood, but what does it really take to be a father? Yes, it takes a lot of responsibility, perseverance, patient and love especially in raising a challenging and rebellious child like me.

The values from my upbringing is what had shaped me into being what I am today and insya allah, how I will be towards my children now and in the future. So what are those values?

Of course I cant list them all now.. how can I, its a lifetime of memoirs to write but on every Father's day since last year, I hope to cherish some moments I had with father. Click HERE for last year's Father's Day.

It is always best to cherish our parent now while they are still alive before it is too late. My cousin Arman Mahadi's worst regret in life was when he never had that father & son bond with his dad before his dad passed away when he was 26 years old. Nawal Aini Zulkifli too misses her dad whom whom lost the battle against cancer when she was in her late teens. They.. We wondered how our father would think of us if they see us being a father too.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DOCTOR MALEK AZIZ

It was over breakfast on 14 June 2011 when we had this wild idea to raid Dr Malek Aziz's practice in Taman Melawati for his err... 18th Birthday? okay that would be a lie.. its for his 28th birthday! ... No.. Maybe 38th Birthday? ..What?? 48th Birthday??? really....? No?? haa.... serious? 58th birthday!!! Alhamdulillah... We have been too active training like a teenager that we completely belief that we are in our teens!! and completely forgotten our real age.... Of course, I am not 58!! but at 58, Dr Malek Aziz is fitter than most teenager! He is a delta at BU-Alpha platoon, the CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP.

Dr Malek Aziz is not just a Delta and a Dentist but he is also a father of 5 children? a spouse to Farhanah Bamadhaj and a partner to Armin Baniaz Pahamin, Nawal Aini Zulkifli, Rose Emini Pahamin and Daing Daniel Fitri and a strong team member for Chun Chia Kai, Mohd Azhari, Wan Hazriq, Letch Sina etc

So bearing all that, we called Farhanah Bamadhaj and told her of our wicked plan then we, Nawal Aini Zulkifli, Rose Emini Pahamin and me drove to Dr Malek Aziz's practice at HERE. Upon our arrival, Dr Malek Aziz was busy attending to a patient with root canal or was it crowning? but we had the assistant dentist to call Dr Malek out from surgery room to attend to an 'emergency'.

1ST DAY IMPLEMENTATION OF HP ACT 1967 (AMENDMENT 2010)

The past few months, PROTON EDAR DEALERS ASSOCIATION MALAYSIA (PEDA) which I am the President had been occupied attending meetings and dialogues with the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism, attended various forums with lawyers that represented banks, discussed with various stake holders and have been in and out of various bank's head office for discussion in constructing a work flow process for all dealers nationwide to comply. PEDA too had the pleasure of meeting with the Association of Islamic Banking Institutions Malaysia (AIBIM) and bounced various ideas to be prepared for the first day of implementation.

I first blog on the Hire Purchase Act (1967) ("HP Act") amendments on 6 July 2010 at HERE when the bill was passed by parliament. HP Act is under the purview of the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Co-operative and Consumerism.

1.  The first action taken by PROTON EDAR dealers nationwide was to burn and throw all blank hire-purchase documents/agreements from any banks. When the new law take effect on 15 June 2011 onward, it will be an offense for any party to be in possession of a blank & incomplete hire-purchase agreement. [Paragraph 4B (2A)].

It is now an offense under the new HP Act to ask Car Buyer to sign a blank or incomplete Hire-Purchase agreement or any form(s) or document(s) related to the Hire Purchase agreement.

IMPLEMENTATION OF THE HIRE-PURCHASE ACT AMENDMENTS

NEWS RELEASE

Kuala Lumpur, 17 June 2011. "The Hire-Purchase Act amendments that was implemented on 15 June 2011 is not pragmatic and may halt the growth of the automotive industry ", said Armin Baniaz Pahamin, President, PROTON EDAR DEALERS ASSOCIATION MALAYSIA (PEDA).

OBJECTIVES & SPIRIT OF THE AMENDMENTS

1.     PEDA understand and support fully the objectives and spirit of the Hire-Purchase act amendments which we understand to achieve the followings:
(a) To protect customer from losing their booking and deposits paid to unscrupulous sales advisors and car dealers.

(b) To avoid unnecessary delay in refunding customers monies paid for booking and downpayment in the event of any cancellation of purchase or failure to secure hire-purchase loan.

(c) To avoid customer from having to pay unnecessarily for their Hire-purchase monthly loan repayment without taking possession of the car or before at least 21 days of taking possession of the car

(d) To avoid customers that cannot afford from buying the car by paying at least 10% downpayment from the car OTR

(e) to avoid customers being cheated of road-worthiness condition of the car and/or not cheated of a promised vehicle specification (including accessories)

NATIONAL CAR

2.     National automotive industry is always subjected to phantom bookings on speculation. Without any booking fees allowed to be collected at the point of booking, buyers can place a reservation at multiple outlets

3.   This bookings made at multiple outlets for 1 buyer is a waste of processing-resources and create inefficiencies.

4.     With the implementation of the Hire-Purchase act amendments, buyer will only be required to pay booking fees after being served with the duly completed Schedule 2 (part 1 and 2). Banks will only issue Schedule 2 after the HP loan is approved. The approval for HP loan is now averaging around 3 days from the point of submission.

5.     With an average of 3 days before the actual payment for a booking fees, Customer may miss and be deprived to secure a promotion when the promotion ended before the booking fees is paid/loan approved. Booking for car is not secured until booking fees is paid.

6.     The ‘Turn-around’ time for the delivery of cars too will take an average 7 days extra from the normal practice. The expected 7 days delay in the buyer’s car delivery was due to no short-cut in complying with the documentation, availability of Bank marketing officer and for cheques/monies to be collected and deposited to Bank as the owner of the eventual car.
7.     Payment for car downpayment can only be collected by Banks or its authorized personnel. Currently, majority of Banks have not allow car dealers to collect monies on the Bank’s behalf except only AMBank.

8.     Customer too would need to pay more visits to the outlet and banks to signed documentation that can only be produce on a piece-meal basis. Example: FIRST VISIT: Customer’s visit the outlet to view the car and prepare documentation for hire-purchase loan application. SECOND VISIT: To pay booking fee, signed and be served with second schedule (part 1 & 2) upon HP –loan approval. THIRD VISIT: To pay full downpayment and signed HIRE PURCHASE Agreement. FOURTH VISIT:  take delivery of vehicle and signed Delivery Notice.
Current practice, Customer only needs to visit outlet once after paying the booking fees.

9.     Dealers will face serious CASHFLOW problem because the booking and deposit must be first paid to the bank to equate the vehicle ‘On The Road’ price before the Bank is allowed to disbursed out to the car dealer. Dealers would be short of the booking fees/downpayment as a working capital to pay for the cars that they ordered from their principle.

10. Dealers would have to pay their Principle once they received the cars that they ordered.

11. Bank facility such as Payment Before Registration (PBR) that almost 100% of the dealers subscribed to, are also frozen and suspended since the new HP Act amendments was implemented. EON Bank was the first to suspend the facility to car dealer.

12. Used car prices will also be affected when it is costlier and more restrictive for second-hand car trader to buy and sell cars. With 70% of new car sales depends trade-in vehicles, the new car sale is also expected to be adversely affected.

With a suspended bank facility,  less working capital, more stringent requirement for hire-purchase loan approval and tougher trade-in cars to buy new vehicle, the overall national automotive growth is expected to be affected.

The implementation of the amendments that was gazetted without prior discussion with automotive stakeholders should be defer indefinitely and re-visited and reviewed by all stake-holders to ensure minimal affect on the industry's growth. PEDA and other stakeholders are aware of the objective and spirit and is ready to work with the Ministry to achieve the objective with minimal impact to the industry.

UP CLOSE & PERSONAL WITH LIZZA ABDUL RAHIM, CHIEF ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP PIONEER MEMBER & OTAI!!

Rosliza Abdul Rahim, a wife and a mother of 5 beautiful children first heard of the bootcamp from Farhanah Bamadhaj and thought Farhanah had lost her mind being a lady in a military inspired bootcamp in July 2009. 6 months later in January 2010, Lizza Abdul Rahim build the courage to join the bootcamp when Farhanah invited. Farhanah wanted to invite Lizza Abdul Rahim earlier but she was reluctant when Dr Malek Aziz thought Lizza would not be able to survive at the bootcamp.... Lizza did not just survived but she has been a consistent recruit for the 18th months now.

To commemorate the event, souvenirs were prepared.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY www.ARMINBANIAZ.com aka STAY TUNE !!!

7 June 2008 was www.ArminBaniaz.com or Stay Tune's birthday!! My blog celebrated its 3rd year anniversary on Tuesday, 2 days ago and I had completely forgotten about it.

I've been blogging for already 3 years!!! Can you beat that? I cant believe it either!!! Three years since my first blog posted at HERE.. !! I am overwhelmed at the response received from friends and followers. I am touch and appreciate all the support extended to me in keeping this blog. From a ZERO traffic counter, now Stay Tune had clocked 212,000 traffic todate. You readers motivated me so much that at times, someone was even jealous at the attention given to the blog rather than her.. him.. them?

Thiking what to eat.....?
Todate, the blog turns 3 years old with 562 articles written & published. There were no plagiarism and everything that was written was from personal passion in life which ranges from family & friends, health & fitness to business & politics.

How to celebrate the blog's 3rd birthday? Hmm.. What do you think I should do?

I think a minor indulgence with a few Durians, KFCs, movie @ cinema-thons, a chocolate cake, haagen daz ice cream, Mega Mac burger, rib-eye steak at Las Vacas should do the trick.. That sounds more like ME? eh... it is me!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Stay Tune & www.arminbaniaz.com

and while we celebrate Stay Tune's birthday two days belated... James Fong grew a year older today and celebrated his birthday at the CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP at Subang Jaya USJ1 with the instructors and closest of friends. Of course, he had to cut the cake the COCB STYLE..... on squat hold!

WHY DO YOU JOIN THE CHIEF ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP?

People joined the CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP for various reasons. Once, there was a couple known as James Fong & Chan Meng Yam whom first joined the COBC to prepare themselves to conquer the Pinnacles at Mulu Caves.  Then there were some idiots (err me Armin Baniaz Pahamin & Nawal Aini Zulkifli) who climbed up the Mt Kinabalu in August 2010 for the second time (and still at COBC to preparation for a third climb?) alongside 20 other bootcampers namely Ili liyana Baharon, Ilyanna Aylin Ayob, Syed Mahadzir Syed Manshor, Abu Lais Walli Mohamed, Anita Ahmad, Nawal Aini Zulkifli, Dr Malek Aziz, Farhanah Bamadhaj, Suriana Saiful, Danial Ismail, Faizal Ariff Abdullah, Nyna Mohsen, Rose Emini Pahamin, Farhan Ashroq, Adibah Syazni, Ahmad Afif Zamri, Mohd Arif Taqiyuddin, Wan Nurshazlina Wan Mohd Samsudin and Hyrene Erwina who trained hard at COBC and successfully conquered Mt Kinabalu peak for the first time last year.

Recently, we at the CHIEF's were proud at Haidar Akma and Noora Ann whom struggled through the bad weather, ignored their body fatique and climbed up to bring the NEW COBC Tee shirt at the highest peak in South East Asia!
