CHIEF'S BOOTCAMP APRIL BRING-A-FRIEND DAY

Its Bring-A-Friend (BAF) Day at the CHIEF ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP, Bandar Utama today 15 APRIL 2011 and Sarge (COBC) Dann welcome those friends with ROPES and some cardio killer!!! Sarge (COBC) Dann was assisted by Corporal (COBC) Tom & Corporal (COBC) Nawal whom both took a circuit each. The platoon with a mixture of friends, Ranger, Seal and Deltas wass divided into three sections namely Alpha, Bravo & Charlie. I was in Team Charlie with Debbie Burgess, SOB Shear Ling Toh, Adibah Mohamad, Jeremy and 15 others.

Team Charlie was unlucky to start the session with Sarge (OBC) Dann, Bravo went with Corporal (COBC) Nawal and Team Alpha with Corporal (COBC) Tom. We had a heart-breaking moment with Sarge Dann with the Killer Cardio... maybe more like a heart tsunami-pumping moment. The endless recent oversea traveling had taken a toll on the stamina. I was breathless doing the killer cardio with the mountain Climbers, Star-Jump, burpees and Grunts.

When in Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and other part of the world played water on SONGKRAN festival, Year-3 and Year 4 students at the GARDEN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL played sport games on its annual sports day that was held on 13 April 2011.

There were at least 300 students from year 3 and 4 that participated to win the pre-prepared 8 SPORTS games. Out of the 8 games, Aaraf Armin won 1st place for the Longest Throw and 3rd placing for Tripple Jump Basket Ball.

Ms Carlie Bassett, having seen the Canon G11 kick ass camera that Nawal Aini Zulkifli was holding requested for her to be the voluntary official photographer for class 3W. Ms Carlie Bassett is Aaraf Armin's class teacher. This blog is the result of paparazzi Nawal Aini Zulkifli's hard work in photo-shooting.

ANXIETIES & EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE (EFT)

I befriended anxiety/'Butterflies' even before I was in my teen. During my pre-teens when I was schooling at Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Kampung Tunku/ Kampung Tunku Primary School, I had a crush on a classmate... or was it an infatuation but I had a storm of 'Butterflies' in the stomach everytime a girl approach me and I wanted so much to talk to this one girl but I just couldnt. I attended co-ed school only during my standard 6 at SRK Kampung Tunku.. all other years until college was in an all boy school.. DAD!!!!!

Although I mastered that art of courting girls in Secondary School but that 'butterflies' resides in me in my other 'interests'. During an undergraduate studies in United Kingdom, that butterflies was at its worst state when I had to give an opening speech during the University Student Union election in 1992 (I was 18 years old), fortunately it well well. That butterflies too never fail to recur during every examination. Similar butterflies kept occuring everytime I had to sing at functions. Somehow, I was always picked at function with karoeke. People like to pick on me and I would never say no but everytime I was picked to sing, the last laugh was at them.. it rain heavily!! When I ran my first 10km race at the PJ Half Marathon some 9 years ago, I could not sleep the whole night... thanks to these 'butterflies'.

Thankfully, I outgrow all of those predicaments but these butterflies can grow into some sort of 'phobia' if it is not attended to. A close friend of mine who is now 53 years old are facing similar agony and had developed a phobia in public speaking. Alot of other friends sabotage themselves and shy away from attempting many activities because of the same 'butterflies'. Some refuse to sing at karoeke or using a microphone for fear of people listening and laughing at her voice but would sing her heart out without any microphone and in close-door.

Some recruits at the CHIEF ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP whom had gained so much in fitness, stamina and strength ended up sabotaging themselves from giving their best performance during any races or running event due to anxiety...
 
This butterflies or anxieties can occur at whatever age from pre-teen, teens, mid life and/or during golden age but whatever the anxieties, fear and phobia that anyone has (at whatever age) , it can be completely eliminated and avoided with the right healing technique and that technique is called the EFT - abbreviation for Emotional Freedom Technique. This healing technique discovered by Gary Craig some 20yrs ago.

How I wish, I had this technique way back during pre-teen!!! But it is never too late, especially for COBC recruits running the ENERGIZER NIGHT RACE this weekend. My partner at the CHIEF ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP, Dr Malek Aziz who is a long-time practitioner of the EFT is giving out FREE consultation to help any recruits from the CHIEF ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP to rid their anxiety for the upcoming race.

Since Dr Malek Aziz recovered from cancer, he had spend most of his free time in learning alternative & Complementary Healing Methods, Quantum Physics, Zhingnen Qigong, Reiki, Healing by Visualisation and as well as EFT. Dr Malek Aziz believes in holistic healing ie to be healed from diseases, one has to heal their body, mind and soul.

There are subtle energies that flow thru our bodies along  definite pathways called Meridians. Chinese physicians have discovered this 5,000 yrs ago! These subtle energies are the centerpiece of EFT & Acupunture.(So, EFT can be regarded as "Emotional Acupunture). Both disciplines have grown rapidly and as time unfolds,they are destined to play important role in emotional & physical healing.

CHIEF'S MARCH GRADUATION PARTY

The 10th CHIEF ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP (COBC), Malaysia graduation party was held at the ECOBAR, DAMANSARA PERDANA and the theme for the party was Stripey & Dotty which actually means stripe and polka dot clothing.

This will be the first COBC party that Chun Chia Kai @ Corporal Chun is absent. Corporal Chun is away in Indonesia for... work? business? leisure? Secret Training?

And this is the first party that Ilyanna Aylin Ayob too had missed. Ilyanna Aylin Ayob was in Paris to run the Paris International 42.2km Marathon that was held on her birthday. What better way to celebrate a birthday than to run a marathon!!! double thumbs up to Ilyanna. Most recruit from COBC became runners and marathoners having gained the best of fitness, stamina and confident.

The theme for every party differs every month. We have had various theme but this is the first time that we will be in colours!! Lets see how colourful are we.......

2XU 12KM RUN

Birds of a feather flocks together. When recruits at the CHIEF ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP run any events, they run together. Months ago, Daing Daniel Fitri, Ody Nurfuadi Ruzalli, James Fong, Chan Meng Yam,  Joe Liew, Lilian Lee, Joanitta Zaleha Yusoff, Noor A. Othman, Norliza Abdul Khaled, John Chuah, Armin Baniaz Pahamin, Nawal Aini Zulkifli registered themselves for the 2XU 12km run in Singapore.


These Runners left for Singapore to run the 2XU 12km race as early as 3 days before the actual event that is scheduled on 10 April 2011. The last batch to leave for Singapore was led by Daing Daniel Fitri whom left after the USJ1, Chief ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP ALPHA platoon session 6 training.

Those that left a few days earlier was Virgin Runners Chan Meng Yam and Kiasu Runner Lilian Lee whom had just recovered from injury, Joe Liew & James Fong and serious runners Joanitta Zaleha Yusoff and Noor A. Othman. Some left earlier to carbo load and some left earlier to go shopping!!!

GIS Primary POP IDOLS

Garden International School charted another record with organising a funtabulous singing competition ala American idol having launched the first GIS PRIMARY POP IDOL in conjunction with the International Week to end the semester before the Easter break.

It was the first Pop Idol, singing competition since inception in 1951. A total of 84 students registered for the Singing Competition and the shortlisting for semi-finalist and finalist has been ongoing for the whole month. There were various criteria to shortlist the semi-finalists and finalists. Today, 7 April 2011, is D-day to vote for the winner!!! 

A few weeks ago, the three best friends Aaraf Armin, Jishern Yuen and Sumhaer went to the GIS Office and registered themselves for the competition without even discussing with the parents. We are very proud to see our 8-9 years old children making their own decision and choosing their own interest without our intervention and of course, we are very supportive and further encourage them. From the 85 students competing, 8 were selected (or was it voted) to the Finals. There will be three winners from the 8 finalists, the Grand Hall was prepared to receive students and guests.

ITS PARTY TIME......... AGAIN!!

Work hard.. Play hard... and party harder!!! Its that time of the month again when we all have to Err..... play, party & Camwhore!! It is very easy to drifter into a deep trance of routine working life that we simply forget to enjoy and socialize. After a full months (plus plus a few FFK sessions) of an intense outdoor working out in the mud, in the rain, all wet, muddy and drown in sweat to shred alot of fat & weights, we have to show off those new re-branded physique at the CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP monthly graduation party!!

ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP IS EXPANDING...... AGAIN

You heard it right!!! The Chief's ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP is expanding! The 20 years old ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP that was founded by Chief Brabon in 1991 first arrived in Malaysia in 2009. I became a recruit as a Ranger in October 2009 when I enrolled myself after being overdosed with Hari Raya sinful food (Read more HERE). When I first joined the ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP, there were only 2 locations available and both had ceased to be part of the Chief's ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP network; the only network that is locally owned but with global instructors support. 

The Chief's ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP, the true military inspired, group outdoor personal training program are currently available ONLY at BANDAR UTAMA, SUBANG JAYA USJ1, Bukit Jelutong and Cyberjaya. In May 2011, the Chief ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP will be available at DAMANSARA HEIGHTS for a trial week!!

The Chief's ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP at Damansara Heights free trial week will be held on 18, 20, 22 APRIL 2011 and will be the CHIEF'S first evening session offered in Klang Valley. The session time is at 6:45pm - 7:45pm.

RUNNING CALENDER FOR 2011

 RUN RUN RUN AWAY...........

There are various benefits of having siblings... I mean have you ever listed down the benefits of having siblings?? ....despite the fact that we are blood related and the fact that we are stuck for life because of that (oh god) but there are various benefits of having many siblings especially when the sister share the same interest!!! With many siblings, sometimes I get food & DESSERTS delivered to my office freshly cook  from home (and sometime freshly 'tapau' from kopitiam).. sometimes I have someone to drive me around and sometimes siblings can do the shopping on-behalf. But one of the many 'best' part of having a sister of the same interest is to have various research done-by-default and almost an 'automatic' registration for various unheard event or activities and of course being 'siblings' it is an 'automatic-cannot-say-no-by-choice'.

DEER, RABBIT & DOG!!!

There is nothing better than to start the day with Running... but the picture on the right was 'acting' and eksyen-picture only....

But actually I did go running because I ate too much the night before. We had dinner with H.E. Ponlork Ho. Excellency Ho ordered and brought two freshly slaughtered Deer, 10 Rabbits and seafood to entertained us and Vietnam Colonel Tang Van Chuc, the Deputy Chief of Ministry of Defense, Chairman of Member Assembly as well as the General Director of Lung Lo One Member Construction Ltd Company, Head Quarters Army Engineer.

RIVER OF LIFE: YEAR 3 SHOW 2011!! GARDEN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

To end the term for the Easter break, Garden International School Year-3 students held an annual concert where Aaraf Armin played one of the main character. According to his class teacher, Aaraf Armin was chosen because he is a good speaker.

The concert titled: the "RIVER OF LIFE" was held on 1st April 2011 and I rescheduled my appointment in Cambodia to attend the memorable event. The concert started at 11am and my resecheduled flight was at 3:00pm. Obviously, I was not just an audience but the cameraman too!! PAPARAZZI!!!
















Aaraf's beloved grandmother Tok Ibu too was there to see Aaraf and the darling cute auntie Chik!!!! 

THE APOSTLES FOR FUN, FOOD & FRIENDSHIP (TRAFFF)

When the bootcampers run..... they really run!! The TRAFFF'ians (The Apostles for Fun, Food & Friendship) or the COBC'ers turned runners became more obsessed with running and ran almost twice a day to train for the upcoming running event. They are as obsessed in running as how my obsession is in Durian!! Eeek...

On 10 April 2011, there is the 2XU run in Singapore and there will be many virgin runners from COBC.. One Virgin that is to look for is Mek Yam Chan Siu Cheh..... Chan Meng Yam!!

CAMPING AT DAMANSARA SPECIALIST HOSPITAL

Barely a month ago, Father was admitted at the Hospital for some heart problem, last week on Friday, Melor Edina Pahamin was admitted and treated for Urinary Tract Infection and was suppose to be discharged today until Dato Dr Kamil discovered a 1cm stone that requires a surgery.

Unbeknown to Melor Edina Pahamin, a lawyer and the third in our sibling had already packed to self-discharged herself from the Hospital after 5 days in admission. The Doctor found a 1 cm stone and they cannot remove the stone without operation. So Melor Edina was scheduled to go under the knife at 4pm today.

While Mohamed Rhiza Ghazi, the husband was restless the whole period but the dad...... Pahamin A Rajab... comfortably sleeping, waiting for Melor Edina to be escorted to the Operation Theatre.

BOOTCAMP IN CAMBODIA

I always thought I am a freak waking up in an ungodly hour to attend the CHIEF ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP three times a week but if I am a freak then the majority of people in Cambodia too must be of my species!!

The roadside and at every park in the city of Phnom Pehn are pack with dozens of 'bootcamp' as early as 5am!!! I was amazed at how everybody came out to exercise 'outdoor' so early in the morning before going to work.

There are a few outdoor HIP-HOP and R&B Dance Camp.........

"My first trip to Malaysia was via driving a Truck from Phnom Pehn passingby Thailand to Penang in the 1980s", said 60 year old Excellency Dr Okhna Mong Reththy whom could easily be mistaken to be in his 40s with his thick black hair and almost wrinkle free. It was a great pleasure to meet and listen to Mong Reththy success story. Mong Reththy Group of companies named after the founder himself, is equivalent to Malaysia DRB-Hicom with a diverse industry portfolio from Pig Farming to a Port and even economic land concession.


I have frequented Mong Reththy office for various meetings with the Group Deputy Chairman Dr Monivann Tan but this was the first meeting I had with the prominent businessman His Excellency Okhna Mong Reththy. Dr Monivann Tan, a PhD in law graduate was decisive and sharp in making decision and our every meeting was fruitful. Dr Monivann too is a keen athlete whom played all form of sports but somehow we always ended up with only an after-office-hour game of pool.

WHEN LIFE IS NOT AT ALL ROSEY

 My heart sank everytime I arrived in Cambodia and saw many kids being neglected, abandoned and/or working 'full time' to help their family with food. Children as young as 3-4 years old are either being used or are really selling various lady accessories such as bracelets etc to selling postcard and books. Once I invited and bought the poor child to eat with me at the restaurant (although the restaurant owner was not so pleased).

EXERCISE WHILE TRAVELING..

I KNOW..... I know.... consistency is a necessity especially to maintain a good workout momentum and fitness stamina. Although I have missed a few bootcamp sessions and many run-training having had to travel oversea for work but I tried to workout on my own which requires more discipline and commitment. This is harder when the travel companion whom only know Food & Sleep Inferno!!

Waking up in the morning was easy without the need for any alarm or wake-up call. I was awake as early as 5am and was ready for exercise by 5:30am!!! Sarge Dann had prepared some own-workout program for me but traveling is taxing on the energy & mojo that I had to modify the program to suit the 'environment'. For a start, I went for a slow jog cum running until I found a playground for kids which gave me this wicked idea of a good workout program.

100TH ANNIVERSARY OF INTERNATIONAL WOMEN DAY CELEBRATION AT H.E. GENERAL KIM KUN'S RESIDENCE

To celebrate the 100th anniversary, the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces Deputy Commander in Chief and the Chairman of Prime Minister Hun Sen's Advisors, His Excellency General Kun Kim & wife Cham  Tiew Chan Dee hosted a dinner at their resident to raise funds for the poor people of Cambodia.

Okay... not that it matters and not that I fantasize them in bed... but what would they look-like without all the Ralph Lauren, Louise Vuiton, Hermes, Hugo Boss branded daytime clothing. Will they still be branded or just all skins or........ err....... Well recruits at the CHIEF ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP does not have to wonder no more.. that is what the next party is all about.... PAJAMAS PARTY!!!!

After burning-off those excessive fats and calories, its time to show off the new-physique at the monthly PARTY!!!! Its PARTY TIME again at the CHIEF ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP Malaysia and this time it is being held at VIKI LIM's residence at the prominent Mutiara Damansara. It is COBC's Ninth Graduation party.

Now we will see them all dressed ready for bed!!! Such fun are the people at the Chief Original Bootcamp. Everybody gathered at Viki Lim's residence as early as 6:30pm for a pot luck dinner. The first recruit at the venue was..... err Viki Lim.. and her husband Jeffery Wong... obviously.. its their house!!

BIRTHDAY GREETING FROM A SISTER.

My long not lost but far away sister, Dr Teratai Edithy Pahamin whom has been living in London for more than 14 years had missed celebrating my birthday for as long as I can remember but never missed to buy me card and present every year. She was back in Malaysia for a week to care for father whom was admitted at the IJN and will leave back to London tomorrow a day after my departure to oversea for work. She waited at my house to give me this card and a big huge hug just in time before I rushed out to the airport this afternoon... how sweet. Now,  reading Ta's card and blogging it at the airport.. Thanks darling Ta. I love you always... (i love the wordings in the card).

HIS EXCELLENCY PONLORK HO

His Excellency General Ponlork Ho was one of the first few person we met in Phnom Pehn, Cambodia. Whenever we arrived at Phnom Pehn, Excellency Ho or his people will be waiting for our arrival at the airport. Such was the hospitality extended although we had repeatedly insisted to find our own way around Phnom Pehn town.

Excellency Ho converse fluently in English having graduated from an American University in United State of America. Infact, he was previously the deputy Commander for the United State of America Federal Investigation Bureau (FBI).

Now, Excellency Ho is attached to the Ministry of Interior as the Secretary of State, a member of the Cambodia Senate and the Personal Advisor to Senate President Samdech Chea Sim. He is also incharge of 3 provinces in Cambodia.

On Sunday, H.E. Ponlork Ho paid a courtesy visit to our resident at Bustanu Pahamin. HE Ponlork Ho was in Malaysia together with his superior His Excellency General Reach Sophort and counterpart His Excellency General Srun Kimsreang, the Chief in Charge of Military Police Administration, His Excellency General Tho Vuthy, Chief in charge of Army Division 70, His Excellency Meas Sarin and his wife. HE Meas Sarin is a Senator and Personal Advisor to the Senate President Samdech Cheasim, Businessman Srey Vannak, the President for Poun Loreachey Sey Trading Group Co Ltd, and 4 other officials from the Ministry of Interior.

SUBANG JAYA MUNICIPAL COUNCIL

The CHIEF ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP Malaysia was presented to the Subang Jaya Municipal Council /Majlis Perbandaran Subang Jaya (MPSJ) yesterday on 15 March 2011. Presence in the meeting was the councillors, representative from the police department, fire brigade and heads of various departments under the local council.

PAHAMIN A RAJAB

There is no better birthday gift for a father whom already have everything from love, jeweleries, cars and wealth but a nice short autobiography blog to say that he is always being remembered, we are very proud of him and also for his next many generations to remember him by. Of course, a prayer for his eternal happiness and health too. This birthday write-up is from a son whom owes everything to a father that asked for nothing, except to see his family united and happy. We always love you..

Allahyarham Mahadi Razak

 
His full name is PAHAMIN ABDUL RAJAB. The 3rd in a sibling of 5; the eldest is a sister Bidah binti Abdul Razak, then Allahyarham Mahadi Abdul Razak (picture on right), Datuk Noordin Abdul Razak, my father and Hashim Abdul Razak. PAHAMIN ABDUL RAJAB was born on 23 February 1946 in Kampung Badak, Bachok Kelantan. When Pahamin was born, the registrar misread the arabic writing and wrongly recorded into romanised typing as Rajab instead of Razak, hence the different surname compared to his other siblings.

Pahamin attended primary school at Sekolah Melayu Badak (Standard 1 to standard 5) in Bachok, Kelantan between the year 1952 to 1956 and pursued to Special Malay Class (SMC) 1 to Standard 6 in Kamil English School Pasir Puteh between the year 1957 to 1959 and completed his primary school education. When he was in SMC 2 in 1958, at the aged of 12, he fell in love with his first and only girlfriend, Zainab Mohamad whom was studying in SMC 1, aged 10 years old. Pahamin then went to Kamil Secondary School in Pasir Puteh from 1960 to 1964 for his secondary education.

RUN FOR CHARITY

Everybody run for a reason... Some people run for money, some people run because their friends run, some people run because they want to burn calories to eat more (like me) and some people run because they want to stay slim and thin (like me too), some people run away from problem (not me) but rarely do we run for a cause to raise fun for charity and that is exactly what Jeffery Wong, Alvin Lim and David Mc Kinney plans to do on 25 June 2011!!! ....to run the 100km Singapore Sundown Ultramarathon within a cut-off time of 16 hours. Jeffery Wong, Alvin Lim and David Mc Kinney plans to raise funds for Kiwanis Down Syndrome Foundation,  All Women Action Society of Malaysia (AWAM) and National Cancer Society Malaysia. THE FORTUNE TELLER

Yes it is khurafah and syirik to believe in fortune teller but it does no harm if it was merely for entertainment and that was exactly what I had. In a town where the high street retail outlets comprised of massage parlors, restaurant or motels and the only form of entertainment is either KTV or 'boom boom', a fortune teller became almost a staple place of visitation in Phnom Pehn. This fortune teller that we went had an average 60 people that see her daily. Everybody from all walks of life would go to see her for various reason.

Fortune teller, HIV/AIDS, hair cut, laundry and other services all share quite a standardize pricing of US$5.00 and so after a yummilicious seafood lunch, we queue to meet this Madam Aunty (whatever her name was). Mind you, whatever she say as a fortune teller should always be taken with a pinch of salt.... Infact, it should not be taken seriously at all and merely for entertainment. Madam Aunty was somewhat in her 40s. We went on a queue and there were many people queuing but right before us, was a pretty Eurasian lady, sort of a european/asian mix parentage that came with 3 guys probably her husband or boyfriend, fiance or just friends.

Its 1 March!!! My birthday!!! Again!!!! 3 days after celebrating Melor Edina Pahamin's birthday on 26 February that was 3 days after my father's birthday on 23 February. 3 days from today, it will be Nawal Aini's birthday on 4 March and 3 days later, her mother's birthday on 7 March. Five 'in-house' birthdays that were all 3 days apart. 4 March too is the birthday of my mentor for health & fitness Chief Brabon.

Since 7 years ago, I declared a non-working day on my birthday and requested from parents, siblings, relatives and friends for no-present except for prayer for my well being, health and wealth. This year is without any exception but to make it more interesting, if anyone insist on giving a present, please buy something or anything that is worth MAXIMUM RM5.00 so that I have something to blog about. Lets see what five ringgit can buy and this is where creativity comes to play. Its not the value and amount that matters at the end of the day but it is the thought, and that is what i really truly appreciate. A hand-made card too does not cost more than RM5.00 or a creative poem or ciplak poem or poetry or a write-up does not cost anything except for the time spent (which actually cost more) or a simple doa for my well being would be the best gift ever.

To be able to celebrate another year of life is ALLAH swt gift to me which surpasses anything else that I could ever wanted. With this life, I can pursue my dream and create more job opportunities and shower everybody with more attention, love and care and enjoy the heaven on earth.. eating!! (my department). Perhaps, I can create and even offer more business opportunities to friends. Insya Allah. Thank you ALLAH Swt the Almighty for this wonderful life that you have given to me.

Alhamdulillah I am also blessed with a wonderful loving family. Siblings that does not have any jealousy (hasad dengki) or ill-hearted, ill feeling to one another but filled with endless love and care. Siblings that would go out of their way to stand by each other through thick and thin although they all have their own responsibility towards their own family. Waa.. macam cerita hindustan. But its true....

CLASS OF 1986 KAMPUNG TUNKU PRIMARY SCHOOL

Brian Melling started this close group page on FACEBOOK for those in SRK Kampung Tunku Class of 1986... those pre-teenage era when we were all innocent, decent and less polluted.

Although I was at the school for only 1 year in 1986 having attended three primary schools between 1981 to 1986 but there were so much memories in that one year.

The most significant memory at SRK Kampung Tunku was the excitement of being in a coed school!! My previous primary school SRK Sultan Ismail 1 (Standard 1 & 2) and SRK Iskandar (standard 3-5) were both boys only school. SRK Kampung Tunku was the only coed school that I attended in my whole schooling life. Bukit Bintang (B) School too was an all boys school and was probably why I 'lost control' with too many girls during teens.

Lets walk back 25 years into memory lane. Having moved school twice before SRKKT, I kind of got used to making new friend but not at all familiar to making friends with girls. Infact, we got so use to moving school that I went to register myself and sis Melor Edina Pahamin at SRKKT without both mum & dad on our first day.

LIFE IS NOT JUST ABOUT FOOD

5 months!!! Yes, it has been five months since I last touch any tobacco. I smoked my last cigarette on 21 September 2010 and ended more than 20 years of life with 3 packs of cigarettes a day. Cant even stand the smell of cigarette now and cant imagine going back to that lifestyle. Sadly, those in the smoke free-bandwagon such as Kamsani Ahmad, Joe Liew and Azwan went back to cigarette but I trust my bil Azhar Sulaiman had completely divorced his cigarette.

Cigarette price in Phnom Pehn is as low as US$0.80 for a pack of 20s!! Yes everything here is priced in US dollar but that is how cheap it is to sell your health.... US$0.80 a day. The cost to 'buy' AIDs or HIV is only US$5.00 a night and there is no refund. AIDS & HIV is for life.

It is the same cost of having a haircut, manicure and pedicure in Phnom Pehn. After many attempt with failure to go to Peek-A-Boo at the Curve for a haircut with Senior Stylist Evian, I had no choice but to try out the senior stylist at the Phnom Pehn most famous saloon.

This place does not have any junior or lower than senior stylists. All hair-dresser are Seniors!!! As in old and only men. no lady hair stylist.
